Access, by design.
Good design reaches everyone. Pixidion builds its site to be used with a keyboard, a screen reader, reduced motion, or whatever else a visitor brings to it.
The commitment.
Pixidion treats accessibility as part of the craft, not a checkbox at the end. The site is built and reviewed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as its target standard, and it's improved as the site grows.
What's in place

Semantic structure
Pages are built from real HTML landmarks — header, navigation, main, and footer — with a single, ordered heading outline on every page. A skip link jumps straight to the main content.

Keyboard operable
Every link, button, form field, and the FAQ accordion is reachable and operable by keyboard alone. Focus order follows the visual order, and focus never gets trapped.

Visible focus
A clear focus ring follows the keyboard around the page, so it's always obvious where you are. It's tuned to meet contrast against the dark background.

Reduced motion
When a device requests reduced motion, the studio respects it — the looping hero mark settles on a single frame, smooth scrolling is turned off, and scroll-triggered reveals render instantly instead of animating.

Color & contrast
The palette targets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast for body and interactive text against the obsidian background. Color is never the only way information is conveyed.

Readable & responsive
Type is set in fluid, relative units and reflows cleanly when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed to 200%, from small phones to large displays.

Described images
Portfolio and content images carry descriptive alternative text. Purely decorative marks and textures are hidden from assistive technology so they don't add noise.

Accessible forms
The contact form uses visible, programmatically linked labels, marks required fields, and surfaces confirmation and error states to screen readers.
Honest about the gaps.
Accessibility is ongoing work, and this site isn't perfect. A few areas Pixidion is still refining:
- Some richly visual portfolio pieces communicate more in the image than text can fully capture.
- A handful of third-party tools the site relies on — payment and form handling — aren't entirely under Pixidion's control, though they're chosen with accessibility in mind.
- New pages and features are reviewed as they ship, so coverage deepens over time rather than all at once.
If something here falls short of the AA target, Pixidion wants to know and will fix it.
